2012 Spring Skills Evaluation
Due to inclement weather the skills evaluation has been moved to January 28th.
Oregon Park will be holding our annual skills evaluation for all players participating in the 2012 Spring Baseball season on January 28th. Players that will be participating in ages 6u through 12u will need to be at the evaluation. Please utilize the times listed below according to your last name. Any player that will be participating in the 4u/5u age group will not be required to attend the evaluation. If you have any questions please send them to questions@oregonpark.com. USSSA Bat Rules
Parents and Coaches - USSSA has a new bat regulation that will go into effect starting January 1, 2012. If you play any USSSA sanctioned events during the 2012 baseball season you will need to go to USSSA.com and ensure that all of your players have the correct equipment. Please note that this rule will not impact any child who participates in the Oregon Park recreation program.
Oregon Park Bat Rules
Any bat that is marked "Coach Pitch" or has CP in the model will not be legal for use at any age during the recreational season at Oregon Park. If you intend on participating in the Dizzy Dean All Star program, you will need to adhere to the rules set forth for Dizzy Dean. Please follow the link below to the new Dizzy Dean Bat Rule. Spring 2012 Registration
Spring 2012 Registration is now available. Walk-in registration will be held from 9am-11am at Boots Ward Recreation Center on January 7, 2012.
All 6U - 12U participants are required to attend skills assessment on January 21st.
Teams will be set on Feb. 3rd and 4th. Practice begins the week of February 6. Your coach will notify you after the teams are set on Feb.3rd and 4th.
There will be a $25.00 non-refundable late fee beginning January 8. If you live outside of Cobb County a $25.00 fee will be assessed and paid directly to Cobb County. Refund policy is listed on our website. Any questions, please contactquestions@oregonpark.com
