Oregon Park Baseball was organized many years ago for the purpose of developing, promoting and operating a youth baseball program in affiliation with a national organization. At the current time, that national organization is Dizzy Dean, Inc. Pursuant to the principals, rules and regulations enunciated by Dizzy Dean, Inc., the goal of Oregon Park Baseball is to provide a properly supervised, recreational youth baseball program that does the following:

Oregon Park Baseball Association will seek to instill,
the youth of West Cobb – Georgia, community ideals
of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and
reverence, so they may be finer, stronger and happier
youths who will grow to be good, clean, healthy adults.
Code of Conduct
Consistent with this, the mission of Oregon Park Baseball is to provide all participants a wholesome environment in which to compete and play baseball, free from inappropriate conduct and behavior by players, coaches, parents and other attendees. In this regard, Oregon Park Baseball adopts the following as its sportsmanship code:
• Develop a strong, clean, healthy body, mind and soul.
• Develop a strong urge for sportsman-like conduct.
• Develop an understanding of and respect of the Rules.
• Develop courage in defeat, tolerance and modesty in victory.
• Develop control over emotions and speech.
• Develop a spirit of cooperation and team play.
• Develop into true citizens.
In order to accomplish these goals, parents, coaches and league members should strive to develop the following qualities and attributes:
• A positive self image
• A spirit of cooperation and team play
• Self control over emotions and speech
• An attitude of sportsmanship
• Courage in defeat; tolerance and modesty in victory
